Built by Litigators Who Got Tired of Making Do

Attorney Workbench started with a simple frustration: why does every case management tool feel like it was built for someone else?

The Origin Story

Attorney Workbench was born in Charleston, South Carolina, in the middle of a complex civil litigation case. The kind of case that generates thousands of filings, dozens of deadlines, and the constant anxiety of wondering whether something slipped through the cracks.

The tools that existed were built for general practice management — great for tracking billable hours and sending invoices, but not for the way litigators actually work. They couldn't monitor court filings in real time. They couldn't compute deadlines from the South Carolina Rules of Civil Procedure. They couldn't help you prepare a deposition or analyze a judge's ruling patterns.

So we built what we needed. A platform designed around the litigation lifecycle from the ground up — not a generic tool with litigation features bolted on as an afterthought.

Our Mission

Give every litigator the case intelligence and operational power of a large firm — regardless of firm size.

Litigation-First

Every feature is purpose-built for the litigation lifecycle. No compromises, no workarounds.

AI-Native

AI is embedded in every workflow — not a chatbot bolted onto a legacy system. It understands legal standards and procedural rules.

Attorney-Grade Security

SOC 2 compliant. Your client data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We take confidentiality as seriously as you do.

Charleston Roots, National Reach

Attorney Workbench was built in Charleston, South Carolina, and our roots run deep in the Lowcountry legal community. Our platform launched with deep South Carolina-specific features — CourtPlus integration, SCRCP deadline calculations, and local court intelligence.

But litigation doesn't stop at state lines. Today, Attorney Workbench serves litigators across the country with AI-powered drafting, deposition preparation, discovery tracking, and case management that works in any jurisdiction.

Whether you're a solo practitioner handling personal injury cases in the Lowcountry or a mid-size firm managing complex commercial litigation across multiple states, Attorney Workbench gives you the edge.

What Drives Us

  • No attorney should lose a case because of a missed deadline. Deadline tracking should be automatic, rule-driven, and infallible.

  • AI should amplify your legal judgment, not replace it. Our AI drafts motions and analyzes transcripts, but you are always in control.

  • Firm size shouldn't determine case quality. A solo practitioner deserves the same intelligence tools as a 200-lawyer firm.

  • Your data is sacred. Attorney-client privilege extends to the tools you use. We will never compromise on security or confidentiality.
